But hell we don't have to look at the rest of the world there is plenty of democratic socialism in the US like social security, supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP), medicaire, medicaid, universal K-12, postal service, public parks, interstate highways, municipal power and water, public transit, all kinds of corporate regulations, and state programs like free school meals.
