This is brilliant but I think it would be even more useful as a spectrum: The more a society relies on wage labour the more capitalist it is.
A country with a 4 day work week is less capitalist than one with a 5 day work week. For that 3 day weekend you can live less capitalist than the rest of the week.
Ending universal wage labour should not be the immediate goal so much as reducing it. So then the first condition for reducing it becomes, by your logic, fuller automation of industry.
Has automation so far reduced capitalism? Yes, at least in America, agricultural automation and other advances made a huge dent in the number of people selling their labour for basic necessities - slave wages and just plain slaves.
There is also a great deal of simplification that would help reduce wage labour. If we have 4 day work week then use some of the time we get back to learn how to do some things on your list for ourselves - education, housing, child care, healthcare. Perhaps we can setup volunteer systems where more of these functions happen outside of paying professionals.
