Uggh so in your mind if someone poor with the "right culture" escapes the effects of systemic racism aimed at black people, that means the systemic racism doesn't exist.

For that matter plenty of black people have escaped systemic racism and that proves that the ones left behind should have just tried harder?

You don't actually respond to any points I make. Maybe just try answering some questions:

1) America is the richest country in the world - why are we allowing babies to die?

Either its some eugenics experiment with poor people or its racism.

2) Why do you believe that most people who enter poverty eventually leave it?

You know full well that just because someone gets their head temporarily above water doesn't mean they are not drowning. Do some research yourself the majority of people who temporarily escape poverty fall back within two years.

Wealth inequality in this country is out of control and getting steeply worse by the year. Whatever narrative you believe you have from the Brookings institute can't change that.

3) Doesn't your brother's inner-city charter school prove my point of systemic racism?

We could invest in people like your brother in all school systems but we use property tax funding and gentrified neighborhoods to make sure that the applications your brother couldn't take are screwed. In California that system came under Prop. 13 which was put in for racist reasons while historical redlining was still in action.
